The Peace Machine vision is to use AI technologies to release human potential and support emotional, ethical, and cultural development. We develop future AI technologies that be used to reduce violence, oppression and destructive conflict.

Peace Machine is a project to use Artificial Intelligence to create a more peaceful world.

The Peace Machine concept was introduced by Timo Honkela in his book Rauhankone – Tekoälytutkijan testamentti (in English; The Peace Machine – a testament of an AI-researcher). French and Estonian versions of the book were published in 2019.

The Peace Machine association (Rauhankone ry) was founded in September 2018 to bring together actors from different fields to advance the Peace Machine concept.
